The Dark Hedges is a place that I will never forget. A family planted these trees in the eighteenth century along the drive to their home so that the visitors would be impressed as they drove toward their mansion. Let me tell you, I was certainly impressed! If you watch Game of Thrones you might recognize this road as The King’s Road!

There was such a magical and whimsical feel. A slight mist accompanied by the perfect amount of wind gave this dress the dance it needed.  We arrived around 9am and while there were a few other groups (and a lot of cows) there we had the road mostly to ourselves!

Collins is part of our Lily Rose Collection- a collection curated for our One Fine Day Brides. These gowns are not advertised and they aren’t readily found on social media or Pinterest so you easily get the feel of a one of a kind dress. If you want your wedding look to be different and unique, the Lily Rose Collection is for you!

We contacted our veil and accessory maker, Sara Gabriel, and we asked if she’d be able to create a custom cape for our trip. They went above and beyond (as always) and created 4 of the most outstanding custom pieces- which you will see in following posts! This cape was just incredible! It is a gorgeous tulle scattered with pearls, sequins, and rhinestones. Capes are on the rise and they are going to be big! If you are considering wearing a veil, but just aren’t sure, this might be the perfect option for you. OR if you just want to do something unique, this is a perfect accessory for you!
